An innovative carbon neutral wine in the heart of the Margaux appellation

La finale de la douzième édition du Championnat du monde de dégustation organisée par La Revue du vin de France a eu lieu le samedi 12 octobre au château Dauzac.

C’est l'Italie qui a remporté la finale. Cet événement réunit des experts en œnologie du monde entier pour une compétition de dégustation à l'aveugle. Pour cette 12e édition, une quarantaine d'équipes représentant 39 pays ont participé. Durant la matinée du samedi 12 octobre, les compétiteurs ont dégusté 12 vins, français et étrangers, et devaient identifier pour chaque vin le cépage principal, le pays de production, l’appellation et le millésime.

L'Italie a brillamment décroché la victoire en obtenant le plus de points, succédant à la Roumanie, gagnante de l'édition précédente en 2023 !

The final of the 12th edition of the World Tasting Championship organized by La Revue du vin de France took place this Saturday, October 12th, at Château Dauzac.

Italy won the final. This event brings together oenology experts from all over the world for a blind tasting competition. For this 12th edition, some forty teams representing 39 countries took part. During the morning of Saturday 12 October, the competitors tasted 12 wines, both French and foreign, and had to identify for each wine the main grape variety, the country of production, the appellation and the vintage.

Italy brilliantly came out on top with the maximum number of points, succeeding Romania, winner of the previous edition in 2023 !

Les 11 et 12 octobre 2024, s'est déroulé la douzième édition du Championnat du monde de dégustation organisé par @larvf_mag

Près de quarante équipes composées, des meilleurs dégustateurs du monde par pays se sont affrontés et ont tenté de percer les mystères des douze vins servis à l'aveugle, leurs pays, cépages, appellations, millésimes et producteurs.
En amont, de cet événement incontournable, 3 master class prestigieuses animées par les meilleurs professionnels du secteur ont été proposés à l’ensemble des participants, une première masterclass autour du Château Dauzac, une deuxième autour du Château @phelansegur ainsi qu’une dégustation de Juraflore avec des accords vins Jaune et fromages extraordinaires.

A look back at the exceptional masterclasses at the World Blind Tasting Championships at Château Dauzac! 🍷
The twelfth edition of the World Blind Tasting Championship organized by La Revue du Vin de France took place on 11th and 12th October 2024.

Nearly forty teams composed of the world's best tasters from each country competed to unravel the mysteries of the twelve wines served blind, their countries, grape varieties, appellations, vintages and producers.
In the run-up to this not-to-be-missed event, 3 prestigious masterclasses led by the sector's top professionals were offered to all the participants, the first of which focused on Château Dauzac, the second on Château Phélan Ségur, and a Juraflore tasting with extraordinary wine and cheese pairings.

After weeks of intense work in the vineyards, the harvest officially ended on Monday October 7 at Château Dauzac.
Meticulous work in the vineyards, unforgettable human encounters, and a convivial atmosphere marked by the passion of all those who contributed to this harvest !
Many thanks to the whole team and to our passionate harvesters for their dedication!

The next stages await us in the winery, where the grapes will begin their transformation. We look forward to sharing with you the evolution of this 2024 vintage!

Maison @quanjude_bordeaux created a festive dinner featuring the wines of Château Dauzac and Domaine de La Bégude, in honour of its Peking Duck, prepared since its creation in 1864.

We celebrated the moon, a very important element, considered a symbol of family reunion; around delicious dishes and twinkling lanterns, we shared the magic of this festival filled with legends and gratitude.

Experience the unique adventure of exploring our terroir on an electric scooter, guided by an expert. You will have the rare privilege of closely observing our 49-hectare vineyard, discovering the vine's vegetative cycle throughout the year. The tour continues into our biodiversity reserve, with a visit to the vat room and the cellar. You will also have the opportunity to taste two wines from our parcel selections.
